Outdoor Maths

Last week we were able to finally get outside in the sunshine for an outdoor maths lesson . We were practicing different strategies to calculate different fractions of amounts . In small groups we each chose our own challenge and were given time to work together to solve the different questions . 

" I am using division by sharing between different groups. "  

" We shared multi link equally between groups to work out a quarter of different amounts. " 

"We used our multiplication facts to find 2/5 of 15 ."
