We have been exploring how our digestive system works and today we recreated it!
We carried out our experiment by making a banana and jam sandwich. We simulate the journey of eating it through to digesting it, then followed through by showing how the stomach digests it. We used liquids to simulate the process and a pair of tights!!
Ask your children how they did this and if they could show you at home!
