This week we've been getting back into our routines of English and Numeracy, DUMTUMS and dinner registers and so on. We've also had the chance to have a bit of fun too:
In Numeracy, we've explored Venn diagrams and what they show us. We created some very big Venn diagrams outside in the playground and learned a little more about each other.
We've also started to practise counting in 1s, 2s and 5s.
We combined our PSHE lessons with Art to express how we feel about ourselves and the children have been gathering ideas for their final art piece, looking at colours, fabrics, designs and patterns.
Finally, we've started to learn a song about friendship which is quite appropriate for new beginnings in Year 2. You can listen to the song here and practise as much as you like.
